Committees PMI Dallas Chapter volunteer committees are structured to support Chapter operations and member services. Each committee reports to a Vice President, who may appoint one or more Directors to lead sub-committees or functional areas. To help out, see Current Volunteer Openings.
These committees and their responsibilities include:
Operations and Support - maintaining vendor relationships, establishing Chapter non-financial records, and other support activities as needed
Finance - functioning as Chapter banker at events, maintaining financial records and policies
Applied Project Management - serving as liaison to PMI Special Interest Groups (SIGs), PMI Colleges, other professional organizations, and non-profit organizations
Communications - producing and distributing all Chapter communications items to members, potential members, and external sources
Education - developing Chapter educational programs, including PMP exam review and other project management training, establishing relationships with local schools, serving as liaison to the PMI Educational Foundation, and identifying other educational opportunities
Marketing - developing corporate relations and promotions programs. This includes the Registered Company Coordinator (RCC) program.
Membership - general membership issues
Professional Development - establishing professional development programs, including webinars, seminars, roundtables, and weekend programs, and maintaining relationships with PMI Seminars World and Registered Education Providers (REPs) Programs
